Eligibility (Who can apply)

• Woman family head, aged 21 or above.
• Resident of Tamil Nadu with valid family ration card.
• Family annual income within Government-notified limit (often around ₹2.5 lakh; check latest local notice).
• Landholding / electricity usage within limits set by Govt guidelines.
• Bank account in the applicant’s name and Aadhaar seeded.

Tip: Keep Aadhaar, mobile and bank correctly linked to your ration card.

Who is not eligible

• Income taxpayers or families exceeding the income limit.
• Regular Central/State Government employees and some elected representatives.
• Households owning a four‑wheeler (unless exempted by Govt order).
• Beneficiaries receiving overlapping social security pensions.

How to Apply — Step by Step

1. Watch for special enrolment camps near your ration shop/local body office.
2. Visit the camp with documents. Officials verify eligibility and capture details.
3. Provide your mobile number (linked to Aadhaar) for OTP and updates.
4. Bank validation may be done (test credit/account check).
5. Save the acknowledgement/SMS for reference.

During outreach like Ungaludan Stalin camps, KMUT applications are also accepted. Check dates locally.
