 The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme’ is a distinctive scholarship programme of Tata Capital Limited that aims to support the higher education of students belonging to underprivileged sections of the society.

 The students who are studying in Classes 6 to 12, Diploma, Polytechnic or Undergraduate (general or professional) courses are provided up to 80% of tuition fee to fulfil their academic dreams. 

Tata Capital Limited, a popular financial services company of the Tata Group, has introduced this scholarship as a part of its CSR initiative, to bring about a positive change in the society, by supporting the education of deserving students.

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme – An Overview

Tata Capital Limited has announced its scholarship programme with the name of ‘The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme’ as part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative. The key objective of this scholarship is to support the higher education of students belonging to economically weaker sections of the society.

 

Under this programme, five different types of scholarships are being offered to students namely –

1. The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Class 6 to 10 Students 2021-22
2. The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Class 11 and 12 Students 2021-22
3. The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Diploma/Polytechnic Students 2021-22
4. The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Undergraduate Degree Courses 2021-22
5. The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Professional Degree Courses 2021-22

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme – Eligibility 

To avail benefits under any of the Tata Capital scholarships, the students need to fulfil a specific set of eligibility criteria. While all the scholarships are open for Indian nationals only, the students also need to fulfil conditions related to their academic qualification/achievement and family income. The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Class 6 to 10 Students

• Indian students who have lost their parent(s) or earning family member/s due to COVID-19 can apply.
• The applicants must be studying in Classes 6 to 10 at a recognized educational institution in India.
• They must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class. 
• The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4 lakh from all sources.

• Indian nationals who are studying in Class 11 and 12 at a recognized educational institution in India can apply.
• The applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class.
• The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4 lakh from all sources.

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Diploma/Polytechnic Students

• Indian nationals who are pursuing diploma/polytechnic courses at recognized educational institutes in India can apply.
• The applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class.
• The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4 lakh from all sources.

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Undergraduate Degree Courses

• Indian nationals who enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme like BCom, BSc, BBA, BA, etc. at a recognized institute in India can apply. 
• The applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class. 
• The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4 lakh from all sources.

The Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme for Professional Degree Courses

• Indian nationals who enrolled in a professional undergraduate degree programme like Engineering, Medical, Law, etc. at a recognized institute in India can apply.
• The applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in the preceding class.
• The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4 lakh from all sources.
